Jakub Tětek joins BARC

BARC welcomes PhD student Jakub Tětek to the team.
On 1 August, 2021 Jakub started as a PhD student in the AC section under the supervision of Mikkel Thorup.
Jakub holds a BSc in Computer Science from Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic, and a MSc in Computer Science from DIKU. At BARC, his research focuses on understanding the role randomness plays in computation on large data sets. Jakub was born in Pilsen, Czech Republic and when Jakub is not thinking about algorithms, you will find him playing on his guitar or somewhere in nature.
We know Jakub from his time as a Master student here at DIKU and we are happy to now welcome him to the BARC team as our newest member.
