CSRankings puts University of Copenhagen 4th in the world

Ranking

Within Algorithms and Complexity CSRankings puts the Department of Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen 4th in the world within the field.

We were very happy to discover that we are now ranked fourth in algorithms and complexity among all universities in the world.

CSRankings is a metrics-based ranking of top computer science institutions around the world and addresses students trying to find out what is the best place to go to grad school. Already we are sought out by amazingly strong applicants and are thrilled to further strengthen our position and to represent Europe in the ranking's top ten institutions.

The ranking fits very well with the AC section's high ambition level, counting only the top-most publication venues in the field.

It is surprising that we do so well in a US ranking, beating famous universities such as Stanford, Berkeley, and Princeton, though but below MIT, but I think that the ambitious, collaborative, and the fun spirit at BARC makes us all perform better, says a proud Head of Algorithms and Complexity Section and leader of BARC Professor Mikkel Thorup.
