BARC welcomes Théo Fabris
BARC welcomes new PhD student Théo Fabris to the team
On September 1, 2024, Théo Fabris started as an integrated PhD student under the supervision of Srikanth Srinivasan and Amir Yehudayoff, focusing on computational complexity with an emphasis on arithmetic circuit complexity. He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, where he worked on a few topics in probabilistic combinatorics and average case proof complexity. His interests lie broadly in theoretical computer science and its interactions with combinatorics, probability theory, and algebra.
In his free time, he enjoys learning new things, running short distances, and spending time at the beach. More recently, he has been having fun with culinary experiments, trying to make Brazilian dishes using Danish ingredients.
