BARC welcomes Mads Vestergaard Jensen

On October 1, 2024, Mads Vestergaard Jensen began his integrated Ph.D. under the supervision of Professor Mikkel Thorup, focusing on graph algorithms.

Mads holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Copenhagen, where his primary interest was in theoretical routing in graphs. Currently, he is exploring new research problems while deepening his understanding of graph theory and randomized algorithms.

In his free time, Mads enjoys solving Sudoku puzzles while watching movies or a soccer match. He also keeps active by running and playing paddle tennis.
