BARC welcomes Lianna Hambardzumyan
BARC welcomes new Postdoc Lianna Hambardzumyan to the team.
Lianna Hambardzumyan joined the BARC team at UCPH on December 1, 2025 as a Postdoc working with Srikanth Srinivasan.
Lianna is a researcher in theoretical computer science, with a focus on complexity theory, communication complexity, and combinatorics. Before joining BARC, she held postdoctoral positions at the University of Victoria in Canada and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel. Lianna completed her PhD at McGill University under the supervision of Hamed Hatami. Her research broadly explores the structural themes of computational complexity.
Outside of research, Lianna enjoys bouldering, long-distance running, photographing sunny places, knitting squares, baking cakes, and reading contemporary fiction, along with regularly complaining about the lack of time to do all of the above simultaneously.

Welcome to the team Lianna!
