BARC welcomes Egor Bakaev

Egor Bakaev joined the BARC team on September 1, 2024 as a PhD student under the supervision of Amir Yehudayoff. He holds a MSc from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Russia, and will mostly be working on combinatorial and geometrical/topological problems, motivated by questions in learning theory. 

His BSc thesis was on pseudoline arrangements (discrete geometry), and MSc thesis was on discrete groups of isometries in the hyperbolic plane.
