BARC Retreat 2023
This year our BARC retreat took us to Værløse north of Copenhagen by lake Furesø. We had a great couple of days with fun activities, good food and uninterrupted time to talk about our work.
We were very lucky to have a visit from Madhu Sudan from Harvard University during our retreat, and it was a fantastic setting to get to know each other.
One of our successful 'Conference paper sessions' which also gives great discussions and grounds for recurring as well as new collaboration.
Teambuilding with a friendly game of laser clay pigeon shooting. Slightly sore muscles from holding the guns were the biggest casualty of the day.
We spent an afternoon on the water with help and guidance from the experienced rowers of Furesø Rowing Club.
The BARC retreats are a pivotal part of the annual activities at BARC.
It gives us the time to get to know one another, have fun and work all at the same time. We appreciate the opportunity.
We are excited to see where BARC takes us next time!
